Small art from the heart

I present you my two original ACEO art entries for the "Small art from the heart" International exhibition in Michigan. I think it is great to participate. You should have a look at the website http://www.safth.com/ .
See the other participating artist, the art and what it is about.

Finally

I can tell you now what I have done the past weeks.
There were two things I wanted to take part in. A scholarship (Hoping this is the
right word) for illustrated books, and an award for childrens- and youthliterature.
(Sorry, everything in German)

I hope my papers for the first arrived there in time but I had to give up the second
as I could not finish all the pictures for the book that I imagined "Little rainbow riding
hood":(
That is kind of sad but I will finish the book nevertheless and show it at the next book fair.
For now previews for the pictures for the book:

And today I will finish my second entry for a great project and exhibition you might want to have a look at: SAFTH - Small art from the heart

I especially liked Naomi von Monsta`s toadstool ACEOs
and made me one creature for myself, as you can see here.
Mine got a bit more sweety than creepy :)

Thanks to Naomi for the inspiration

I made a lot more small art :) that you might see soon.

Applefants

I almost forgot to post this picture. An addition to a group I joined on DA, where we are
drawing from a monthly reference. You can find the original mushroom here: link
I just started the pic for may. Best wishes, Me ;)

Art from the heart

I`m relieved as I finished it:

The greatest star of all!

In 2010 I started the sketch after a photo I took.
You can find it here [link]

In between I drew and painted a hell a lot of other pics.
So I myself can see my improvement over time and am quite happy about it.
So who might be the main character in this severe illustrative kind of art?
Do you like anyone on there especially?
Might it be that I am excellently proud of me?
Yay !

Whatever. The paper is crap. Pencil would stay, the ink got erased.
The paper sucked the ink away and everything you see had to be inked at least twice
You might find elements that have been referenced.
Please mention if you find something that should be linked.
